CALL TO WORSHIP Psalm
105:1-5 (The Message)
Thank God! Pray to him by
name!
Tell everyone you meet what he has done!
Sing him songs, belt out hymns,
translate his wonders into music!
Honor his holy name with Hallelujahs,
you who seek God. Live a happy life!
Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works;
be alert for signs of his presence.
Remember the world of wonders he has made,
his miracles, and the verdicts he’s rendered—
Tell everyone you meet what he has done!
Sing him songs, belt out hymns,
translate his wonders into music!
Honor his holy name with Hallelujahs,
you who seek God. Live a happy life!
Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works;
be alert for signs of his presence.
Remember the world of wonders he has made,
his miracles, and the verdicts he’s rendered—
Sing hallelujah you people of God!

PRAYER OF THE PEOPLE
Lord, our God, there is no other like
you and your unconditional love for us. We
thank you for standing by every promise you have made humankind, especially
for the gift of forgiveness and salvation through your Son, Jesus Christ. So, we gather here to proclaim your
greatness, to sing your praise, to see your face, and to celebrate your
faithful presence with us.
We also come to seek your mercy and
forgiveness for our unloving ways.
Forgive our indifference and our wont to dwell on our differences rather
than what we share in common. We too
easily forget that all people are created in your image, and you so
loved all peoples that you sent Christ to die for us. Grant us your vision that we may see all
people as you see them; fill our beings with your love and compassion for all
whom you love.
We pray for healing, strength and
comfort for those who are sick, enfirmed and grieving. We ask for your grace for the lost and the
seeking that they may find you among us.
Minister to those who are lonely and forgotten. May we bring your presence to them. For the unwanted and the overlooked, may we
welcome them with the radical hospitality of Christ who welcomes all to his
table.
We seek your blessing not for ourselves
but that we may be a blessing to all we meet.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ who first taught us to pray,
“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses
we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the
glory forever. Amen.

PRAYER OF COMMITMENT
Holy Spirit, you search the recesses of our minds and the depths
of our hearts. You call us to be not only givers but also receivers of
your gift of grace. We believe that you will multiply our gifts to do all
you have asked of us. As we offer our lives and what we have. We are grateful to be joined to the love of
God in Christ Jesus our Lord and to his mission to make disciples for Jesus for
the transformations of the world. Amen.
Sending Forth
HYMN
“Lord, Dismiss Us with Thy Blessing”
BENDICTION
Now, may the generous love of God
surrounds you, the limitless peace of Christ fill you, and the Holy Spirit
guide you on your way. Go, and know,
it’s not we have, but what God can do with it.
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
